Because with the Hexblade, it all revolves around high charisma, which allows you to assert your goals – should you fail to do so unexpectedly, a quick blade will still help you clear away problems.
Perfect for evil runs, allowing you to optimally steer toward the new endings. Additionally, you are small all-rounders, as you are proficient with medium armor, martial weapons, and shields. You also bind weapons to yourself that then use your charisma modifier instead of relying on dexterity or strength. This way, you can easily be the leader of your group and dive into melee combat as a spellcaster without fear.
Generally, all your attacks are aimed at the quick annihilation of your opponents, and you can not only cast strong spells but also deal hard hits. So if you want to play the perfect villain or perhaps start a run with the Dark Urge, the Hexblade is a good choice.
