3. Cleric – Death Domain
A particularly powerful representative claims your 3rd place. With 94 votes, accounting for 14% of the total votes, the Cleric with the Death Domain subclass moves in. This is particularly surprising, as Clerics are otherwise among the least popular classes in Baldur’s Gate 3.
However, the Death Domain as a subclass also offers decisive and powerful advantages that apparently resonate well with you. With it, not only do all your attacks deal necrotic damage, but they also ignore the necrotic resistance of opponents.
Especially powerful is also the spell Death Ward, which can completely prevent the death of a target. Thus, the Death Domain provides a significant advantage for Honour Mode runs. Also, the domain is closely associated with some NPCs in the game, leading to interesting interactions.
In our editorial ranking, the Cleric with the Death Domain landed in 1st place.
2. Monk – Way of the Drunken Master
2nd place is claimed by the Monk with a subclass that revolves around alcohol, as you can get enemies drunk and restore half of your Ki points with it. You are also nimbler and quicker than other Monk subclasses – but you must always keep an eye on the “Drunken Status”.
This makes him a very fickle subclass, as if you fail to do so, this Monk is significantly weaker than his other counterparts. With around 103 votes, or 15% of the total votes, the Way of the Drunken Master seems to have snuck into your hearts.
