Baldur’s Gate 3 offers a vast game world with many things to explore. However, some of these things are rarely discovered by fans. One player was amazed when he found a location he had never encountered in his 400 hours of gameplay.
Which location is being referred to? It’s a place where there is a “Harpers Stash”, a location that you can find in Act 1. Reddit user HashtagTSwagg recently discovered this spot near the crashed Nautiloid ship (via Reddit). The interesting thing, however, is that HashtagTSwagg had never seen this place in his 400 hours of gameplay before.
Only after two playthroughs did he get to this spot and was able to enjoy not only a beautiful view but also loot some good items. We will show you how to get there.

Hidden on a mountain and hard to reach
You will find the “Harpers Stash” on the mountain near the starting area around the crash site of the Nautiloid ship. Keep an eye on your compass and head north. The passage is not easy to find as you need to climb the mountain.

HashtagTSwagg mentions, alongside his surprise, that there is also good loot that you can find there. He says:
“There is such good loot in this area! How could I have missed it before!? Just the Guidance Amulet is worth it, a free D4 on skill checks is super helpful. The amount of things I apparently still have to explore after two full playthroughs and half a dozen runs that made it to the second act is astonishing.”
What do players say? On Reddit, players report about another Harpy chest that you can find near Astarion when you meet him for the first time.
User Show__Me__Your__Cats says on Reddit: “Yes, behind the spot where you meet Astarion, there is a path that leads down the rocks where the boar is located. Jump down and pass a perception check at the end of the path and move a rock to get a chest with a bunch of decent stuff.”
Other players, on the other hand, celebrate how Baldur’s Gate 3 continues to manage to hide things from the community that you only encounter after many hundreds of hours.
