Faerûn will soon become even more romantic. Larian Studios is ready to surprise players with a heartwarming patch. Patch 6 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is set to be released in the week of February 12 and promises to elevate your love stories to a new level.
The announcement was not very specific yet, but Larian Studios confirmed on X that it will be a comprehensive patch.
Patch 6 brings more romance for Valentine’s Day
Larian Studios has announced improvements to the kiss animations. In the short video of the announcement, you can even see a new kiss animation – a romantic moment between Halsin and Astarion. Halsin even gives him a gentle kiss on the forehead at the end.

What else is in Patch 6? Besides that, Larian Studios has announced that your companions will receive new animations when they stand idle
in the camp. Additionally, new Legendary actions are expected to be added in Honour Mode to make the hardest difficulty even more challenging. There will also be a number of bug fixes.
More is not yet known about Patch 6. The patch is expected to be extensive and Larian Studios states that the full patch notes will be published online shortly before release.
