Baldur’s Gate 3 has released a Deluxe Edition that can be pre-ordered. However, individuals are already offering their copies at an inflated price. The developers warn against purchasing and state that the edition will not be limited.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has undoubtedly taken the year 2023 by storm, establishing itself as one of the most popular and successful games. At the Golden Joystick Awards, the RPG bagged a whopping 7 awards, including the title of the Ultimate Game of the Year

Larian Studios recently released the Deluxe Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3, which can now be pre-ordered. However, pre-ordered copies are already appearing on various platforms at exorbitantly high prices.
Do not buy the Deluxe Edition at higher prices, the edition will not be limited
What is the Deluxe Edition all about? Due to confirmed pre-orders, individuals are currently selling the Deluxe Edition at a higher price. A quick search on eBay shows that the Deluxe Edition is currently being offered for 200-300 Euros, even though the original price is 79.99 Euros and it is not a limited edition.
There will be enough copies available, as Larian Studios Director of Publishing Michael Douse
emphasized on X. In the post, he writes the following:
Just for your information: The Deluxe Edition is not limited and stock levels are stable, with further waves being prepared within the shipping window Q1 2024. So if you see them being resold online based on confirmed pre-orders at higher prices, let it be. There will be no supply shortage.
We have confirmed a minimum order quantity, but we already surpassed that on the first day, and the shipping date in the first quarter allows us to simply increase wave sizes without risking the shipping date. […]

What is actually in the box? The Baldur’s Gate 3: Deluxe Edition for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X can be pre-ordered via the official website for 79.99 Euros. Shipping is expected in Q1 2024. It includes a physical copy and numerous extras. The package contains:
- Baldur’s Gate 3 physical copy (3 discs for Xbox Series S/X, 2 discs for PS5, 1 disc for PC)
- On consoles, Baldur’s Gate 3 should be playable without additional download from the disc. The PC disc only includes a download key.
