Perks determine victory or defeat in Destiny 2. Since Bungie has announced another revision in the area of “weapon perks”, you should pay attention to which weapon you dismantle. We will show you which one could get a new coat of paint.
Which perk is meant? It concerns the trait “Adrenaline Junkie”. This provided bonus damage and handling with grenade kills. The roll was often found in builds optimized for spam-grenades. Grenades are definitely a way to deal massive damage, but they are not the meta.
Bungie announces fun news for the perk “Adrenaline Junkie”
In Destiny 2, certain traits are adjusted when they are not used often enough. This brings Bungie new metas and variety in combat. So it is now with this one.
Bungie surprised the community with an unexpected message in a tweet:
In this tweet, Senior Community Manager “dmg04” informs the community that they should keep their “Adrenaline Junkie” rolls on their weapons. Soon the team will share fun and good news regarding this perk.
Why is it being adjusted? It is uncertain why Bungie wants to adjust this particular trait. It is possible that it does not meet what the development team hoped for.
Since Bungie often observes gameplay from the shadows, it is possible that they want to revise this for that reason. The fact is, you will soon witness a change. Therefore, keep your weapons with this perk in your nearly full vault until Bungie can provide further details on this.
What could await us? One does not know yet. “Adrenaline Junkie” was known for boosting your damage and weapon handling through grenade kills. Whether this effect will be maintained is unlikely, as it could rarely prove itself in difficult activities.
A fun adjustment could be one that increases your grenade damage per kill. This effect would then stack up to five times. However, this is just wishful thinking and depends solely on Bungie regarding what changes they will allow.
What do you think of this announcement? Are you frustrated that your favorite perk will soon be changed? Or do you find it cool that Bungie is addressing it to make it more attractive in the game? Let us know!
