In the end-of-match screens after a game, players in XDefiant receive various awards, including humorous titles for particularly poor performances.
How does XDefiant reward its players? In so-called end-of-match screens after a game, players in XDefiant receive various awards. Typically, you can find your K/D ratio or other metrics related to your gameplay there.
However, a thread on Reddit recently showed that there is more than just information about your performance. Some players are now also receiving awards for performing particularly poorly.
A trailer for XDefiant can be seen here:
Thank you for making me feel special.
What kind of awards are these? The player Vince_-
sulkily posts on Reddit a picture of his award: “Thank you for making me feel special,” accompanied by a picture that shows “ran around” instead of the usual kill/death ratio next to his character. The community agreed with him and found it absolutely hilarious.
However, this does not seem to be an isolated case, as other players also share their experiences in the thread. It quickly becomes clear that ran around
is not the only award to expose players.
How is the community reacting to this? The community is amused by the awards for particularly bad players. Other players also share their incredibly great
awards with the community:
- The_Coolest_Undead writes on Reddit:
In my first game, I failed terribly and got ‘present.’
- ab2dii reports on Reddit:
I saw someone with ‘moral support,’ and I had to laugh
- Sneaklefritz comments on Reddit:
My wife got: ‘New best KD, 0.11!’ in her first game lol
