In Destiny 2, you will soon be able to snag rare weapons as part of an Exo quest, which will no longer be accessible starting in Fall 2020, but are particularly valuable for title hunters and collectors.
This is what the quest is about: In Season 11, Destiny players will face a comprehensive quest where we have to evacuate half of the solar system. Commander Zavala sends us on 22 quest steps across 4 planets threatened by Darkness – As a reward, the exotic pistol “Chosen of the Traveler” awaits.
Resourceful players have now discovered that the quest carries additional rewards. These include 4 weapons that will soon no longer be obtainable and were already rare prior.
For those wanting to know more about the great evacuation in Destiny 2, you can find it here:
What weapons will be available soon? Throughout the quest, you will receive these 4 legendary weapons:
- Silikonneurom: You will receive this sniper rifle from Asher Mir on Io.
- BrayTech Osprey: The rocket launcher is available from Ana Bray on Mars.
- T.V.O (DFA): The hand cannon is awarded by Brother Vance.
- Noble Duty: The auto rifle is handed over by Sloan on Titan.
Players are still pondering (via reddit) whether these are current versions of the weapons. Until now, all four weapons have only been available as Year 1 versions in the game, meaning they lack a perk and mod slot.
Collectors and title hunters will soon be happy in Destiny 2
Why are the weapons so rare? Whether these are currently up-to-date weapons, possibly even with later weapon retirements or not, matters little to many. Because until now, all mentioned weapons have been hard to obtain and therefore missing in many collections.
The reason is that the weapons were exclusive Nightfall rewards. This means that each weapon is only available after the boss fight of a specific strike. The strike must be in the weekly Nightfall rotation – Moreover, the boss drop is also random.
Even rarer will the weapons become starting September 2020. With the major expansion “Beyond Light”, some Destiny 2 content will be moved to the so-called Content Vault. This also includes all four respective strikes, which are located on the planets to be evacuated.
Therefore, title hunters are excited: There have often been complaints when that one strike had not been in rotation for weeks, which offered the missing weapon as a drop. For the Wanderer title, these random drops must be collected – Therefore, the respective strikes are farmed up and down by collectors.
Finally, I can finish Wanderer

Even though the evacuation is not yet live, it is already well received by the players. The quest is seen as a farewell song to the (for now) unreachable locations and the facilitated accessibility prior to the inaccessibility of the 4 weapons is considered a nice gesture.
If you missed Exotics from previous seasons, you need not despair, because through an item, the flagship weapons are within reach: Exotic Code in Destiny 2: What it can do and what it is most worth.
