The tactical turn-based strategy arena game Atlas Reactor is getting a new game mode. In “Fourlancer”, you control your whole team by yourself. There is also a new hero: The killer squirrel Isadora!
Atlas Reactor is a fun arena action game where you take turns executing your actions with three teammates, defeating your opponents through tactics and foresight. However, this only works with good teamwork. If everyone does what they want, everything can quickly go wrong, leading to great frustration.
Therefore, the developers have now introduced a new game mode in which you control your entire team all by yourself.
Atlas Reactor: No longer fail due to incompetent teammates!
The new game mode is called “Fourlancer” and in it, you compete alone against a single enemy. However, you don’t control just one hero on the team, but all four. This allows you to plan your moves and synergy effects much better than if you were relying on your teammates.
To make sure everything works, you get a larger time limit for each turn in the Fourlancer mode. However, it is quite difficult to plan the actions of four heroes by yourself. If you are not a good multitasker, you should probably stick to the old 4vs4 modes and build a well-coordinated team.
Atlas Reactor: New heroine Isadora – The immortal killer squirrel!
Along with the new game mode, Atlas Reactor is getting a new freelancer (that’s what the heroes are called in the game). This time, there is a cute squirrel creature named Isadora, which rolls around like a hamster in a kind of ball. As long as the ball – a shield – is intact, Isadora is a strong tank.
If the shield collapses, Isadora is easy to kill due to her low health points – she is a squirrel! – but she receives a hefty damage boost. So be careful that your seemingly easy prey doesn’t bite you in the butt!
Also interesting: Atlas Reactor was previously “free2play” and is now “free2player”
