The Asia-MMO Astellia will start on the night of September 21st with the head start in the West. But when exactly does it start and how can you participate? We will tell you the starting time and further details.
When does it start? The head start for Astellia begins on Saturday, September 21st, at 2:00 AM German time, in the middle of the night. But to be involved that early, you need a specific pre-order package.
Regular players, on the other hand, will have to wait more than a week before they can also start in the new MMORPG.
What pre-order packages are available? If you already want to be part of the head start, you have the choice of three packages:
- Gold Package (39.99 Euros) – Gives you the starting advantage of one day – September 27th at 2:00 AM
- Platinum Package (59.99 Euros) – Gives you a starting advantage of four days – September 24th at 2:00 AM
- Legendary Package (99.99 Euros) – Gives you a starting advantage of seven days – September 21st at 2:00 AM
All pre-order packages include additional bonuses, including outfits, mounts, character slots, and various buffs like Nordens Gunst, which you can also earn in-game.
How does the regular release proceed? On September 29th at 2:00 AM you can then purchase the normal version of Astellia. This is supposed to cost 30 Euros and offers no rewards.
Alternatively, you can subscribe to the game starting September 29th for 10 Euros per month instead of buying it. However, you will not receive any advantages, and it is more comparable to a kind of test version.

Astellia relies on traditional values
What is Astellia? Astellia is a game from Korea that is based on traditional MMORPGs. You can look forward to:
- a Holy Trinity with 5 different classes
- a classic quest system
- Crafting
- and Dungeons.
PvP is optional in Astellia and possible in special arenas or in Avalon, an area similar to World vs World in Guild Wars 2.
A special feature of the MMORPG are the Astels, small companions that assist you in combat, whether in the open world or in PvP.
The game has made some adjustments specifically for the West. For example, the shop avoids Pay2Win and also things like dungeon tickets are made earnable in-game.
Is Astellia worth it for me? Astellia has shown in its previous beta phases that it indeed has charm and potential. It doesn’t break any trees and doesn’t bring any surprising innovations, but at the same time, it doesn’t do much wrong either.
Those who like traditional MMORPGs and the graphic style, have no issues with rather monotonous quests, and are not fans of PvP in the open world might find a home in Astellia.
History has shown that “Founder packages” should only be purchased by those who are very sure that they really like the game long-term and can afford this additional expense without pain. Those who still have doubts should simply wait until the release.
