The Halloween event has started in the new MMORPG Astellia. In this guide, we give you an overview of the event and tell you how to master the dungeon.
How does Halloween work in Astellia? During the Halloween event, the larger cities like Meiville or Almantin in Astellia are decorated. There you will find an event vendor and the quest giver for the daily tasks.
Additionally, you can expect a special dungeon during the Halloween event, which we will explain in detail throughout the guide.
The goal of the event is to farm as many candies as possible to exchange them for buffs, potions, or special costumes.
How long will Halloween last?
- The event started on October 22.
- It is expected to stay in Astellia until November 5 and will be removed with the maintenance that is scheduled to start at 9:00 AM our time on November 5.
The daily quests
What daily quests are available and where can I find them? In the announcement for the Halloween event, it was stated that daily quests play an important role.
Ultimately, there is only one quest per day, for which you need to defeat 10 “Pumpkin Head” monsters. You can find these in each of the four major cities in the game.
The quest adjusts to your level. If you have a low level, you should defeat the enemies in Ragefarant. If you are level 50, you need to hunt the pumpkins in Athlon.
The quest itself is simple and can be completed in a few minutes. As a reward, you will receive:
- Stinky Candy Tokens (500 pieces)
- Dungeon Tickets (4 pieces)
- Sweet Candy Package (1 piece)
- Asper (8,000 pieces)
The Halloween Dungeon
How do I enter the dungeon? You can enter the new Halloween dungeon through the adventure menu. There, select “Dungeon” and then “Event” at the top tab. Here you will find the Halloween manor of the archduke. The entrance costs 2 dungeon tickets.
The event dungeon is a revamped version of the “Manor of the Archduke,” which you can enter around level 35 in the story. The Halloween version also requires level 35.
How does the dungeon work? First, you need to talk to the stone statue (first black circle) at the start. This will open the right path for you. You will fight your way through to the middle and encounter another statue there (second black circle). This statue will clear the way to the first mini-boss.
The mini-boss: The first boss “Creeper” (first blue circle) is easy. You just need to watch out for the clock bombs. These appear regularly and explode after a short time.
Otherwise, this boss is quickly defeated.
The fight with the final boss: The final boss “Elipumpkin” (second blue circle) is quite a challenge if you are not already max level and have good equipment. At level 48 and without preparation, I had difficulties, although I could defeat the boss on my first attempt.
The Elipumpkin has several phases:
- In phase 1, you can let an Astel tank and deal damage. At some point, he will dive underground. Then you should move away from the middle, as he will reemerge in a large AoE.
- After that, he summons four gravestones out of which the corpses come. You should destroy these quickly.

- After that, another tank phase starts, with the boss now having some AoE attacks.
- At around 50%, there will be the next phase switch. The boss will dive underground again, but this time there will be many AoE fields that you should avoid.
- Apparently, there is a safe spot right at the manor where none of the AoE effects can reach.

- The boss reemerges in the middle and then has further AoE attacks.
- At about 10% health, he will dive down one last time. Now everything comes together: AoE effects, the four graves, and the new abilities of the boss.
- Once you have defeated the boss, you can secure your reward.
What rewards do you get from the dungeon? The Halloween dungeon rewards you with:
- Stinky Candy Tokens (10 pieces)
- The chance for a rare costume (Eligos, the Candy King)
- also the normal dungeon rewards, such as weapons, Astels, and Asper.
You can repeat it as often as you want during the day, as long as your dungeon tickets allow it.
The Halloween vendor
What do I get from the vendor? At the event vendor, you can get some buffs and potions for stinky candy tokens that you can earn during the event.
A special reward is the White Skeleton Costume (4,000 tokens), which you can only exchange during the event.
What else is there to do in Astellia besides Halloween? The Halloween activities provide a bit of entertainment in between. However, anyone looking for major challenges should enter the legendary dungeons that were introduced at the beginning of October.
In addition, this year, the PvP area Avalon and two new Astels are also set to be released.
