In Teamfight Tactics some players complain that the combo of Assassin and Void is too strong. It is aggressive and unstoppable. We look at the combo and give you tips on how to play Assassin in Teamfight Tactics.
What is the problem? Currently, there is a feared combo in Teamfight Tactics, the LoL Auto Chess: the “Assassin Setup.”
Those who play Teamfight Tactics encounter this combo more often. It is aggressive and spectacular, as 6 characters jump around and slaughter the valuable units in the backline.

This is the Assassin/Void combo:
Played with 6 Assassins, there are only 7 in total – so you practically take all of them: Akali, Evelynn, Katarina, Kha’Zix, Pyke, and Rengar. This increases the critical damage of the Assassins by 350%.
In addition, you add 3 champions with “Void,” since Kha’Zix already counts, you add Cho’Gath and Rek’Sai. These are 2 Brawlers, so they have an additional 300 HP. Many also take Kassadin instead of Rek’Sai because he is such a strong tank.
These 8 champions form the core of the setup.
What items does the combo use? For the items in Teamfight Tactics, the aggressive combo looks for Crit items. YouTuber Scarra equipped Kha’Zix with double Infinity Edge in this setup. Important items are placed on Kassadin and Cho’Gath, ensuring the frontline holds longer.

This is how the Assassin combo plays: The 6 Assassins leap into the enemy ranks in the first move and quickly stab the enemy targets.
The trick is to shoot down the enemy’s casters and rangers while letting their tanks run into nothing.
Phantom Dancer and positioning are counters for Assassins in Teamfight Tactics
What can be done against it? On Reddit, people discuss this “Assassin” meta in Teamfight Tactics. Some say it is incredibly strong and there is nothing that can be done against it.
However, experienced players recommend a “hard counter” – you should equip a tank with the item “Phantom Dancer” (Recurve Bow and Chain Vest) that will evade all critical attacks.
This tank is placed as “bait” isolated far from the opponent so the Assassins jump on him and get their teeth stuck.

Another option is to place the characters in the corner so the opponent has little jumping space. This is explained in the embedded YouTube video above.
Other players add: The meta in Teamfight Tactics is still fluid and will surely change a few more times.
Currently, “Void/Assassin” seems very strong because they are rampaging.
