The Twitch streamer Asmongold is currently experiencing a huge influx of viewers through his content in WoW Classic. He is constantly facing greater challenges, which apparently are very well received.
This is shown by Asmongold: Asmongold has recently been showing his viewers more and more dungeon runs while playing the beta of WoW Classic. It started with the iconic dungeon The Dead Mines, which he was able to attract nearly 100,000 viewers.
He has worked his way up over time and recently defeated the Armory of the Scarlet Monastery, a dungeon that is actually far too difficult. Because the dungeon is designed for level 35 and above. However, the maximum level of the beta is level 30.
Now Asmongold has raised the stakes and tackled the hardest dungeon: The Cathedral of the Monastery with the famous boss High Inquisitor Sally Whitemane. These tricks are used by Asmongold: Since the dungeons are actually far too difficult, Asmongold must rely on a few tricks with his team. He himself plays as a warrior tank, who only absorbs the roughest damage.
Together with two hunters, a healing priest, and a paladin, he actually just pulls the enemies back and forth while they die from the constant damage. He “kites” them.
The greatest damage is dealt by the two hunters. The paladin fills a role that no longer exists today: The supporter. He only ensures that all others become even stronger through buffs and debuffs and refrains from personal damage.
It’s going so well that Asmongold is even in the mood for some coarse jokes:
Can I do this too? In principle, anyone can replicate such runs. At the moment, however, you need access to the beta of WoW Classic, which is only being distributed limitedly.
In the stress tests that are also taking place, this will not be possible for now. The last stress test restricted players to level 5, so they could never complete the dungeons. There were other highlights instead.

Asmongold also benefits from the hype of WoW Classic on Twitch. He not only receives many viewers through the dungeons but is currently even in 4th place among the most-watched streams on Twitch based on hours in the last 14 days – ahead of Ninja. (As of: May 27 at 15:30)
In these two weeks alone, Asmongold received almost 90,000 additional followers. These are strong numbers, especially considering that he actually wanted to quit WoW:
