The Kickstarter campaign of the MMORPG Ashes of Creation is nearing completion. The developers have now released a new video that demonstrates the seasons. However, a release date for Ashes of Creation is not expected anytime soon.
The new video of Ashes of Creation shows the landscape in winter. There are different seasons in the game. These have not only visual effects but also gameplay effects.
As seen in the video, the group of heroes wanders over a frozen lake. This opens up the possibility of reaching the other side, which is somewhat more challenging in summer. Additionally, hunting is more difficult in winter. The animals hide better and there are fewer of them. Moreover, winter provides a beautiful atmosphere with snowfall and white landscapes.

The video also features a quest showing how advanced the game is. In addition, the group of heroes visits the home of one of the players, as housing is also an important aspect of the MMORPG.
A creepy dungeon is also shown, and at the end, the Monster Coin system is demonstrated, through which you can transform into monsters. In this form, for example, it is possible to attack cities.
The video shows that Ashes of Creation already gives the impression of a complete MMORPG.
New team members – Ashes of Creation release date not until late 2018
The game seems to be quite advanced. However, it will only be released in late 2018.
To further advance development, new employees have now been hired, who already have substantial experience in the gaming industry. Among them is Kevin McPherson, who has worked on Everquest 1 and 2, Planetside 1 and 2, as well as Vanguard. Also on board is Mat Broome, who developed DC Universe Online, the Everquest games, Planetside 2, and H1Z1.
