In the upcoming MMORPG Ashes of Creation, you will be able to create a hero from four classes. These have now been introduced in more detail.
The developers of the MMO Ashes of Creation are currently preparing to present the latest version of their game at PAX West. As part of this, four classes have now been revealed that will be available to you. Additionally, there are details about the skills that these classes can utilize.
Cleric
The cleric fights with a staff and eliminates his opponents with combo attacks. He can bless a companion with “Rightous Blessing” to grant them a buff. Additionally, he is capable of healing allies, whether they have few or many hit points. In his divine form, he receives a 25 percent bonus to healing and damage for eight seconds. Moreover, the cleric is able to cleanse a certain area around him of harmful influences.
Wizard
The wizard shoots magical arrows from his spellbook and fires a kind of fireball at his opponents with “Implosion”. Additionally, he can imprison his enemies in a prison of ice, summon lightning, and teleport. With “After Image”, he creates a sort of copy of himself to confuse opponents. He can make the ground shake, which deals damage to enemies and knocks them down. A wizard is able to find magically hidden passages.
Tank
As a tank, you hit hard with your sword and can provoke enemies to attack you. You also create a wall that knocks enemies down upon contact and inflicts damage. With the shield and spear, you also attack enemies, and it is possible to throw yourself as a shield in front of allies, absorbing 50 percent of damage. With “Righteous Fury”, you swing your weapon in a wide arc, hitting multiple enemies. Additionally, a tank can detect threats in the nearby area.
Ranger
The ranger fires with a bow and can hit multiple enemies in front of him with the Power Shot. He sets traps that bind enemies in place, and it is possible to shoot a tracking arrow at specific enemies. The ranger also leaps out of danger and simultaneously fires an arrow. When he summons the Sniper Zone, he deals 200% damage while standing in that zone. The arrow rain hits all enemies in a certain area. Furthermore, he can read trails that lead you to new adventures.
Later, more classes will be introduced. There will also be the option to access the abilities of a secondary class.
At PAX West in early September, the development team intends to present new information and gameplay material for Ashes of Creation.
