The developers of Ashes of Creation have announced today that their PvP spin-off Apocalypse will be released worldwide on December 18. They have also revealed details about the content and future plans for the game.
What is Ashes of Creation Apocalypse? The free-to-play game Apocalypse primarily contains the PvP content of the ambitious MMORPG Ashes of Creation. According to the developers, the reason for the standalone version is that they will have a live environment with many testers where they can extensively test the PvP and combat system.
This is how you sign up for Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse: It will be available as a standalone game. To play it, you must register on the official Apocalypse website . Afterwards, you can start it through the my.com Game Center. European players will also be able to compete with players from other continents.
Update on launch time: We have learned from a reliable source that there will not be a release on December 18 – German time, mind you. However, it should definitely start on December 19. Expect more info here at 1 PM.
What game modes will there be? Apocalypse will launch with a battle royale mode designed for 100 players. Players will fight with weapons and magic until only one player emerges victorious from the battle.
After the release, more PvP content is to follow. A fortress mode is planned in which a heavily defended castle must be captured. There will also be a coop horde mode where players must face waves of demons that become stronger with each round.

Can I transfer achievements to the later game? So that later players of Ashes of Creation can also enjoy the spin-off, you can transfer all cosmetic content to your main account.

Smaller packages will get you into beta phases. When these will start is uncertain. However, an official release is planned for 2019. The game itself will later cost you nothing, but there will be a subscription model for Ashes of Creation.
