The social media pages of Ascent: Infinite Realm have been updated with new information. The recently released screenshots show a new type of missions that players will undertake in Ascent. Crew missions are really big quests in the MMORPG A:IR.
What is Ascent: Infinite Realm? A:IR is an MMORPG set in a steampunk environment. In the world of Ascent, the inhabitants are searching for new living space and must defend themselves against dangers with their technologies and magic.
Airships play a major role, as massive air battles are firmly embedded in the gameplay.

Developed by Kakao Games and Bluehole, the studio behind the battle royale shooter PUBG.
What’s new? The released screenshots show the crew mission “The Sunsetville Outskirts Defence,” in which a large number of players can participate simultaneously.
The mass air battle is a defense mission during which players must defend the settlement of Sunsetville against a rush of enemies.

Each player gets an airship for the mission, equipped with a powerful machine gun. Players are supposed to defend the border region of Sunsetville against monsters and other enemies.
The final boss of the mission then appears on one of the many small islands in the area. The boss itself is fought on the ground. Unfortunately, the practical machine guns cannot be used in that battle.

Is it coming west? While the first beta tests for Ascent: Infinite Realm were held in Korea as early as 2018, there has been a long silence in the west. Bluehole has announced that there will be no beta in Europe in 2018 and has also asked players not to sneak onto the Korean test servers.
The developers have also not yet commented on the business model of the game. However, a western release is certain, and it is likely only a matter of time before a beta is announced for western players.
