Dying Light 2 is a feast for fans of bloody zombie battles. Around Christmas, the action RPG gets even a bit more festive – with a special trader and suitable skins.
How do you bring festive Christmas cheer to a zombie slasher? No idea, but the action RPG Dying Light 2 has come up with something special.
Until January 5th, the “Winter Tales” event is happening in the game. A special trader offers you themed cosmetics when you bring him gifts taken from nasty zombies that the residents of the city had.

What does the event offer for my character? In the winter event of Dying Light 2, everything revolves around the stolen candies and gifts of the zombies.
Defeat a few dozen of the rotten enemies and visit the bazaar. Here you will find the special trader “Baka”. In exchange for collected event items, you will receive thematic Christmas items – including funny hats, decorated weapons, or even masks.
If you reach trader level 5 with Baka, you get the complete nutcracker skin:
If you bring Baka 20 gifts, he also gives you a matching glider for the nutcracker outfit.
Additionally, there is a community event running alongside: If all participating players bring a total of 6 million gifts to Baka, everyone will receive a special weapon as a gift.
What else is different? The damn zombies. Many enemies have received a festive upgrade, wearing elf costumes, adorned with fairy lights, or resembling an undead Grinch version. You can also find some cosmetic upgrades in the bazaar.
Dying Light 2 was released at the beginning of 2022 and celebrated great success at launch. The game is still being supported and developed further.
