My.com announced a new approach to the online game Armored Warfare with the “Seasons,” through which you will regularly receive new story content.
Unlike World of Tanks, Armored Warfare also focuses on storytelling. This will be expanded in the future through the new “Seasons” feature. With the seasons, developers regularly introduce new content that continues the story. These seasons thus replace the previous update structure of the online game.
Many Innovations
Each season in Armored Warfare will consist of several contents:
- The seasons bring new chapters of the story
- The contents are connected through a special version of the cooperative gameplay mode
- The PvE maps, where the cooperative story missions take place, are modeled after real locations and conflicts
- Each season brings new vehicles, new PvP maps, as well as thematic paints, rewards, and avatars
- Redesign of the standard view of the vehicle park
- The battalion competition mode lets you lead a battalion and assemble task forces against ruthless enemies. The winners of the competitions will receive glory, honor, and rewards
- Israeli tanks: Israeli models from the 1950s to the near future will be available to you
- The armor inspector mode provides you with information about the composition, layout, and especially the weak points of each vehicle
A Story of Revenge
Throughout the story, you follow the vendetta of the mercenary Magnus, who was betrayed by a military corporation. The first season is titled “Black Sea Incursion” and will be released for PC this spring. Owners of a PS4 will have to wait a bit longer but will receive a special operation in May that sets the stage for the upcoming story.
Just a few weeks ago, Armored Warfare was also released for the Playstation 4.
