Armor: Mutant Armor and Bone Armor
How do I get mutant armor? Once you explore your first cave, things get serious. You’ll encounter various mutants, and it gets intense.
Once you’ve dealt with one of the slimy creatures, you can “harvest” the dead body. Small tip: If you’re in co-op, stand together next to the body and start harvesting together.
This way, everyone gets a piece of “mutant armor” in their inventory. You can equip these pieces directly, no crafting needed. You can carry a total of 10 pieces of mutant armor and “decorate” your entire body with them.
The armor is a bit hidden in your backpack – move your mouse all the way to the bottom right, past the stones. There lie mysterious pieces of skin – your new armor. One click and you equip it.
How do I get bone armor? You need to craft this armor. For that, you need:
- 4x bones
- 1x rope
- 1x duct tape
Thus, the armor is a bit expensive for the start of the game. You should weigh whether it’s worth sacrificing rope and duct tape at the beginning.
Bones are easier to find. Check your map and look for small water areas. Such ponds often have tents where you can find bones and skulls.
If you have limbs in your inventory, you can also place them on the fire and let them burn. The charred remains will turn into bones after some time.
