The multiplayer shooter ArmA 3 has received a new update and thus reached version 2.00 after 7 years. We explain what is included in this patch.
What kind of update is this? Version 1.00 of ArmA 3 launched in 2013 by the creators of DayZ. Since then, there have been several patches released, but these were rather small updates. Now, after seven years, the first major update has arrived, elevating the game to version 2.00.

- What does this new update offer? Update 2.00 introduces some new elements into the multiplayer shooter. These include:
- New Firing Drill “Course of Fire: Gray” – You face a challenge in an exciting course where you receive a gold medal if you complete the challenge in less than 2 minutes. The course provides you with some surprises.
- Steam Workshop – You can now share your self-created content (Compositions) directly via Steam Workshop with other players.
- CTRG Special Forces Gear – A new variant of this gear, consisting of a stealth uniform and helmet, is available to you, including a black version of the P07 pistol.
- Plenty of additional adjustments
How are players reacting to this update? Some are glad that there are finally new contents. Others feel that the content is too little to justify a version 2.00 of ArmA 3. Here are some opinions from the community:
