The latest patch of ARK: Survival Evolved has expanded the game with two new creatures that can now be found on the island.
Hobbies: Clapping Penguins!
Actually, the updates for ARK: Survival Evolved were supposed to become less frequent for some months now, but players hardly notice that. In the latest patch, two new creatures have again been added, which are now causing trouble on the island. The first animal is the Kairuku, a relative of the penguins. This creature poses no threat, but its body generates a lot of heat, so players can venture into very cold areas with it as a companion without freezing.
Since the bodies of the young ones contain special materials, players are already talking about going out to “clap Kairu” – let’s see when PETA complaints.
Secondly, the Melanocetus, an anglerfish, awaits brave players in the depths of the seas who want to tame or hunt it. The luminescent substance from its typical lure is excellent as an energy source for many different devices.
Aside from the two animals, new systems have also been implemented that allow for clan feuds. This is meant to motivate players to meet at certain times, even if it is solely for the purpose of beating each other up.
