With PixArk, Snail Games is working on a mix of Ark Survival Evolved and Minecraft.
The studio Wildcard, the creators behind the dino-MMO Ark Survival Evolved, has now granted Snail Games a license for Pixark. This is a sandbox survival game that is inspired by Minecraft and Ark Survival Evolved. It is set to be released worldwide in the first half of 2017.
Players can explore the world in this free-to-play game, gather resources, build houses and items, and also tame dinosaurs. It is described as a pixel version of Ark.

According to Snail Games, PixelArk will reflect the world and core elements of Ark: Survival Evolved. The target audience includes all survival fans and also younger players who enjoy pixel aesthetics.
Another project from Snail Games is a sort of “Pokémon Go” with dinosaurs; this mobile game is also expected to run with the Ark license.
The Chinese publisher Snail Games is also working on a free-to-play version of Ark for the Chinese market:
