Soon you will be able to carry the dinos from Ark: Survival Evolved i in your pocket. The game will be released as a mobile version! A release for Android and iOS is planned – the beta for Apple devices has already started.
On PC, Xbox One, and PS4, Ark: Survival Evolved has already sold several million copies. Now it wants to continue in the mobile market. The developer studio Wildcard has announced that they are working with developer War Drum Studios to bring the “entire” game to mobile devices.
Ark Survival Evolved as a Mobile Version – Beta Started
At launch, many MMO friends will likely try out the mobile game, as it is free-to-play. This is surprising, as the PC version costs a whopping €60. It is likely that the game will be funded through microtransactions, as is common with other F2P games.
According to the studio Wildcard, the player experience is said to be close to the original. It speaks of the “full online survival experience” of the PC and console versions, which has been adapted for mobile devices.
You can expect dinosaurs and other creatures (a total of 80) in the game that you will encounter in the world. Even features like crafting and building, which you know from the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions, should not be missing on smartphones.
This announces a promising multiplayer title for on-the-go. A closed beta for the mobile version of Ark has already started and is available on iOS. The full version is expected to be released in spring for iOS and Android.

Ark: Survival Evolved has been successful on PC since its release through early access on Steam. Later, the dino game was released for Xbox One and PS4, reaching a total of 13 million players across all platforms.
Co-developer War Drum Studios also previously worked on the mobile games Rockstar’s Bully: Chinatown Wars and GTA: San Andreas.
