The surprise hit ARK: Survival Evolved is performing its trick once again: Over 1 million buyers on Xbox One.
The double wonder
When ARK: Survival Evolved launched almost half a year ago with Early Access as a PC version on the gaming platform Steam, hardly anyone believed in its great success. But it only took a few weeks for the game to sell a whopping 1,000,000 copies and captivate players around the world. The dino survival game on the mysterious island was so much of a bestseller that the developer Studio Wildcard was asked by Microsoft to bring Ark into the Game Preview Program on Xbox One.
For almost two weeks, ARK has now also been part of this Game Preview Program on that very console and has already sold over 1,000,000 copies there as well!

There are still about 7 months until the release in summer 2016, but players on both platforms can expect numerous updates, as the game is supposed to be error-free and, above all, complete at launch. Considering that since the start on PC the content has nearly tripled, the developers still have plenty of time to develop numerous additional content.
At the official launch in June 2016, a version of Ark for the Playstation 4 is also expected to be released.
