PC-Patch v257 in ARK Survival Evolved has been postponed. Survivors get the chance to relocate their structures before the volcano becomes active.
The new Patch v257 is coming in Ark Survival Evolved. It was originally scheduled to go live at the end of April. However, the patch has now been postponed for a good reason.
Ark Patch v257 ETA May 3 – Pack Your Bags and Secure Your Structures
The patch includes a revamp of the volcano, making it active. Until now, the volcano was simply the largest mountain in the game. It is located near the center of the island. Survivors used the dormant volcano to settle in and establish homes. There are still bases and structures at the volcano.
Studio Wildcard Warns Players of the Destruction
Studio Wildcard issued a clear warning that these structures and bases will be destroyed once the volcano becomes active. We can expect it to spew lava that will burn everything in its path. Players have until May 3 to load their Quetzals and relocate.
Everything within the marked line will be destroyed. Studio Wildcard released a small patch that shows this line in the game. You can check the line to see if your buildings and structures are at risk.
Anyone who cares about their structures and base should secure them by May 3.
