In ARK: Survival Evolved, some of the latest changes are being reverted. Tamed creatures are stronger again!
Outcry Ends After a Few Days
A few days ago, the latest patch for ARK: Survival Evolved caused a major outcry in the community, as all tamed creatures were weakened by over 50%. The developers reviewed the abundant feedback from players and slightly increased these numbers again in the latest patch. Studio Wildcard is now waiting to see how the new stats for the dinosaurs are received and aims to gather as much feedback as possible to get closer to a reasonably perfect balance.

What the Future Holds
As part of “ARK Digest 25” (essentially a developer letter), there was also discussion about the future of the game and what various developers are currently working on. One of the most interesting plans includes the implementation of a grappling hook, which will allow players to traverse large distances upwards. There will also soon be a desert landscape that expands the island with new areas. Additionally, innovations are expected in crafting, with armor pieces at the level of SWAT teams becoming craftable, as well as a chemistry bench, which is an industrial variant of the mortar.
Straight Out of a Horror Movie
Those with a fetish for raw meat might also be excited about a mod. Because when it comes to certain resources, there is typically an abundance of meat, leather, and sinew. The modder infinitesunrise has thought a bit more practically and considered how it might be to build a house from exactly these materials. That’s right, a house made of meat.
The mod “Meat Structures” allows players to create various building materials from meat and then craft their own home from it. Although the walls might not be particularly stable, hey – to each their own!
