New servers are being launched for the online survival game ARK: Survival Evolved, where you will fight for survival in fast-paced, action-packed battles.
With the Conquest servers, ARK takes on a bit of the character of a battle royale game. 100 players will fight each other on the map, while collecting resources and taming animals takes a back seat.

Large PvP battles in ARK
How does Conquest work? With the Conquest servers, you have the opportunity to participate in large PvP battles that take place much faster than on regular servers.
- Collecting resources and taming creatures takes only half as long
- You earn experience points twice as fast
- Four tribes with up to 25 players compete against each other
- Instead of a maximum of 70 players, 100 players are allowed on the Conquest servers
- The focus is on the battles
- The mode is mainly aimed at those who want to engage more in the battles in ARK
- The developers want to offer an exciting and faster gameplay experience with this mode for clans
When do the new servers start? The Conquest servers will open on PC on September 28. Players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will have to wait a bit longer. A release date will be announced soon.
How many servers are there? Initially, 36 servers will launch on September 28, offering different maps. Depending on how the mode is received by fans, this could be expanded further.
The community is excited about the battles
This is how the community reacts: The players of ARK are very curious to see how the online game plays on the Conquest servers. Will it really feel like a battle royale? How does the game change when the focus is on battles and everything else takes a back seat? However, there are also voices from the community who express some disappointment that the servers focus on PvP, since there are already official PvP servers.
Other players explain, however, that new PvE-servers could disrupt the balance, as players would spread across too many servers, which could harm trading. Therefore, new PvP servers are understandable. From September 28, we will see how the new Conquest servers are received.
