The Genesis expansion for ARK: Survival Evolved was released on February 26. New dinos, gear, and items can be found or crafted. We have prepared a suitable list of IDs, admin commands, and cheats for Genesis.
The admin commands offer a great way to spawn dinos and items directly. Even players without Genesis can use the commands.
How to use the admin commands
- PC: Press the Tab key, and the console for chat input will open.
- PS4: Press L1+L2+X+Triangle on your controller to open the console.
- Xbox One: Press LB+RB+X+Y on your controller to open the console.
If you are playing multiplayer on a private server, you need admin rights. You cannot use commands on official servers. In singleplayer, you will not have any issues using cheats.
ARK Genesis Dino IDs and Commands
With the right commands, you can spawn the new dinos anywhere. Even if you do not own Genesis.
- Astrocetus: admincheat Summon SpaceWhale_Character_BP_C
- Megachelon: admincheat Summon GiantTurtle_Character_BP_C
- Magmasaur: admincheat Summon Cherufe_Character_BP_C
- Bloodstalker: admincheat Summon BogSpider_Character_BP_C
- Blade Wasp: admincheat Summon InsectSwarmChar_BP_C
- Ferox: admincheat Summon Shapeshifter_Small_Character_BP_C
- Microbe Swarm: admincheat Summon MicrobeSwarmChar_BP_C
- Moeder: admincheat Summon EelBoss_Character_BP
- Moeder Minion: admincheat Summon EelMinion_Character_BP
How to tame the dinos: If you want to obtain the creatures as tamed versions, instead of “Summon XXX” you should type “SummonTamed XXX” in the console. Alternatively, you can aim at a dino and type “admincheat ForceTame”.
ARK Genesis Item IDs and Spawn Commands
What you should know: The first number after the spawn command corresponds to the number of items to spawn. For example, “cheat gfi Lootcrate_lvl1 100 1 0” would place 100 Level 1 Lootcrates into your inventory.
