Where can you find new information? In the course of or in the lead-up to EA Play Live. This is an in-house, annual event of the publisher Electronic Arts, where traditionally the newest titles and content of the company are presented.
This event is expected to be quite exciting for everyone interested in the new Battlefield 2042. Because very soon, there are 2 dates coming up.
These are the 2 must-attend dates for Battlefield fans:
- one on July 8 at 7:00 PM German time. Here, in the run-up to the main event, there will be a live stream on the topic “The Future of the FPS Genre,” where there will be an extensive discussion about Battlefield 2042. Guests will include Oskar Gabrielson, the General Manager of DICE, and Christian Grass, the General Manager of DICE LA.
- and the other on July 22 at 7:00 PM German time. Here, after a brief pre-show, the main event of EA Play Live 2021 will take place – also as a live stream. In the 40-minute show, the new Battlefield 2042 is expected to be one of the highlights.

- “EA Originals <3 Independent Studios" – July 13, 2021, at 7:00 PM German time. The focus will be clearly on indie games and developers.
- “Madden NFL 22 – Full Access: Scouting” – July 20, 2021, at 1:00 AM German time. This will cover the development of the franchise mode and also present the new scouting feature.
- “More EA SPORTS!” – July 20, 2021, at 7:00 PM German time. While no concrete details have been revealed for this stream, it is safe to assume that it will revolve around the sports games FIFA 22 and NHL 22 – perhaps there will also be news about new titles from Codemasters.
When is the main event of EA Play Live 2021? The main event of EA Play Live will take place this year on July 22. The pre-show will start at 7:00 PM German time, shortly followed by the big main show.
What can we expect at EA Play Live 2021? The main program will last 40 minutes and will specifically focus on games that will be released soon, including Battlefield 2042, Lost in Random, and more – including some surprises.
