The sandbox MMO ArcheAge is notorious for spreading all kinds of bugs and frustration during new server launches and mergers. But this time, everything went surprisingly smoothly.
ArcheAge has a long history full of annoyances. Hardly any server restart or merge has gone smoothly. There have always been serious issues. Sometimes many players couldn’t log in and missed the big land rush. Other times items were not correctly transferred, leaving players stranded in the new world.
ArcheAge: A fresh start without major issues
Due to these bad experiences, many players were understandably skeptical when the merging of six ArcheAge servers each in the USA and Europe into two new realms was announced. The populations of the original servers were supposed to completely move to the two new realms in each region or other unaffected servers.
But the expected trouble was absent this time! Overall, everything actually went smoothly. There were a few cases of lost items, and while these issues were being resolved, housing was disabled. However, this bug was quickly fixed, and now the houses are back up, and players are happily at work.
ArcheAge – Only a few bugs
Only a few bugs are currently bothering the developers, such as falling guild ratings after inviting new members. Also unfortunate: Some players are unable to move when they are automatically kicked from the game due to being AFK for too long. But compared to the frustrations that have occurred in ArcheAge before, the current bugs and program errors are not serious problems.
Also interesting: ArcheAge – Huge update is almost an expansion!
