This year, the MMORPG ArcheAge will be expanded with Update 3.0: Revelation, which represents the largest update for the game to date.
This update brings extensive changes and expansions to the game. This includes a complete storyline for the new races of Dwarves and Warborn, leading players from Level 1 to Level 30. Featured are new quests, zones, items, and housing areas. While the Dwarves live in a snowy region on Nuia, the Warborn are at home in a devastated area on Haranya. Both races will receive their own capital city.
Of Dwarves and Warborn
The male Dwarves resemble those known from D&D. They enjoy drinking, are fantastic craftsmen and miners, and fearless warriors. The female Dwarves, on the other hand, have a more feminine look. This means they have no beards, are stout, but also attractive. The Warborn appear as walking demons, although the female representatives of the race look somewhat more feminine. Both races possess a special skill that allows them to transform into a kind of “ultimate form”. This is unlocked at Level 30 and is particularly suited for PvP battles.
The six new zones offer numerous PvE and housing content. In each area, there is a special item that can be crafted. Crafting is expanded. Masters, for example, can produce a vehicle that can be sold. In each area, there exists a community center through which housing is managed. As the owner of a house, you must interact with the community center and complete the listed goals there. This provides rewards. In this way, the community center grows, and when it reaches Level 3, you can craft a very special item.
A Peaceful Zone
The zone Anamar on the western continent is a peaceful housing zone full of farms. Here, 800 to 1,200 houses can be built, and players can focus entirely on their craft without having to fear being attacked. Because PvP is not possible here. The zone is intended for recovering from the war. The Revelation update is expected to be released at the end of the year, with Trion Worlds estimating December. At the same time, new servers will go online, which are based on a new cluster. However, anyone wanting to play there will need a new account.
