Trion lays off 15 employees: It was recently announced that the publisher Trion Worlds has laid off 15 employees. Notably, some prominent members of the ArcheAge team were affected. This includes, among others, associate producer Seraphina Brennan and artist Jessica Pate. Brennan has been an important point of contact for the players of ArcheAge in recent years.
But what does this mean for the future of ArcheAge? Is the game in danger?
Statement from the boss
No reason to worry: To reassure the players, senior producer Merv “Khrolan” Lee Kwai has now addressed the community in the ArcheAge forum. In an open letter, he assured them that everything is okay.
They will continue to fully support the game, and everyone at Trion and XL Games will keep working on ArcheAge. “Even in challenging times, we remain focused on the next milestone.”

Additional adjustments, including to trading, are also on the way.
- Content plan for 2019 is set: According to the producer, some new content is planned for ArcheAge in 2019. A roadmap should follow soon.
