Sandpark-MMO ArcheAge has introduced new items that players can purchase for loyalty points. They receive five per day if they log in and have an active Patron status.
The highlight is the sloth glider for 350 loyalty points, which can be saved up over 70 days. This item is also presented with a .gif and has cult potential.
For 350 loyalty points, the sloth can be safely obtained on the back; otherwise, one must wait for a good roll with the “Treasure Chest of the Friendly Flyer.” This chest is not available for loyalty points but for 420 Gems, the cash shop currency.
The treasure chest can contain buff food for a group of up to 10 members if Sid is not inside. This is meant to help players overcome the “new and tougher” challenges that Trion Worlds and XLGames are planning for them now and in the future. This buff food should particularly support players who are not perfectly equipped. However, the chest will disappear from the game again.
For loyalty points, an “Archeum Thunder-Tree Sapling” can be purchased. It costs 35 loyalty points and has an increased chance of becoming a “thunderstruck” Tree.
The sapling caused a small crisis a few months ago when there was a chest in the cash shop from which it could emerge: ArcheAge on the (Lightning) Wood Path: Change to the Cash Shop did not go as planned. The fact that this chest coincided with an APEX exploit that allowed players to obtain unlimited Gems exacerbated the situation.
