The latest patch “Ascension” for the Free2Play MMORPG ArcheAge is now live. Players can found their own nations!
Found kingdoms and tame a wyvern with Patch 2.9 in ArcheAge
At Trion Worlds, it has been announced for a long time, and now the patch 2.9 titled “Ascension” is live on the European servers and has expanded the game with numerous features and improvements. As of this morning (June 1, 2016), the update is available and can be downloaded for free by all players.
At the heart of the patch is the ability for players to now create their own kingdoms and thus independent factions. These player-formed nations can declare wars, build numerous buildings, and the ruler can even tame their own wyvern, which they can then ride into battle. However, all these things are very difficult to accomplish, and only well-prepared guilds that invest a lot of time and effort into such an undertaking will be able to found a nation, as this can be thwarted by other players even during the founding phase. Equipment for everyone!
If you log into the game now, to better prepare for the latest content, you will receive a whole load of equipment. Each player receives a total of 22 items, bringing them to an equipment level between 3500 and 4000. This is intended to help those who have not played for a long time to get significantly closer to the current content without having to play through “old” content first. If you do not need the equipment for your main character, you can of course give it to a twink.
