The sandbox MMORPG ArcheAge starts in 2017 with a strong message.
As turbulent as 2016 ended for ArcheAge, it begins strongly. In an “Ask the team” session, community manager Celestrata was asked about the APEX exploit on the “Fresh Start” servers. We reported on the APEX exploit.
Celestrata says: The exploit has been fixed, and the players were permanently banned. Everything they had obtained dishonestly was removed from the game.
The number of users who had used this exploit was said to be very small. We are only talking about a “handful of players.” The days of “exploit early, exploit often” are over. Players should understand: If they exploit, they will be permanently banned.

That’s why the queue was so long and that’s why there was no second “Fresh Start” server in Europe for ArcheAge
Otherwise, Trion Worlds talked a lot about the “Fresh Start” server and the schedule for introducing new things there. There was no second “Fresh Start” server in Europe because in the past such “additional” servers quickly became empty – like in Cluster 3. This time they wanted to manage the influx by increasing the capacity of the servers by 600%. That worked only moderately well.
Although the servers were physically capable of handling such an influx in ArcheAge, overcrowding in certain areas and the new housing zones additionally stressed the instances. In the last 3 weeks, the situation here has improved. It is not perfect yet.

With tickets and support tickets, they are somewhat behind, about a week. Trion Worlds is working on this.
For the future of ArcheAge, players are advised to take a look at Korea. They are currently discussing patch 3.1.
