In the sandpark MMORPG ArcheAge , the February patch 3.0b brought a behemoth and a new underwear system.
The highest zone in ArcheAge so far was introduced last week: Reedswind. And high is meant literally here: The region consists of floating islands. The Thunderwing Titan, a powerful undead, rules there. We already introduced this recently.
However, it didn’t take long for the first adventurers to claim his scalp. Yesterday, ArcheAge announced its achievement: The guild FEMA managed to defeat the Thunderwing Titan. The “Version-First” kill goes to Kyrios, a US server.
With the February update 3.0b, a new “underwear system” was also introduced. Trion Worlds happily announces “Change Your Underwear, the power of underwear has now reached the next level.”
In ArcheAge, underwear is a complicated matter. Through Synthium and jewels, it can be enhanced to yield better stats.
Underwear is indeed a controversial topic in ArcheAge. It must be washed regularly to maintain its stats – every 30 days, “Synthium Soap” must be used to keep the stats intact.
Trion Worlds proud of its own underwear system
At Trion Worlds, they are proud of their underwear and say: We have our own system for our version, which is not as “RNG-heavy” as in other regions. We have underwear from various sources. In the past, Trion Worlds has repeatedly emphasized that they are negotiating with the Korean developer XLGames to make their version less “pay-to-win” than the original in Korea.
