The sandbox MMO ArcheAge celebrates Christmas. However, it is called “Feast of the Wintermaid” and offers you plenty of quests and events where you can reap loot and achievements.
The Christmas events never end, not even in ArcheAge. Trion’s sandbox MMO celebrates the joyful Feast of the Wintermaid starting December 20th. Therefore, the two cities Marianopel and Kap Solis will be adorned for the holidays. Furthermore, during this time, there is a festive peace and thus a PvP ban in the respective city.
Snowmen and Winter Spirit Hunt – Gift of the Wintermaid in ArcheAge
However, the Wintermaid festival is not just a time of peace and decorations. You can experience events. For example, you can pick up quests from the Messenger of the Wintermaid and go hunt for winter spirits. Or you can build a snowman in the Misty Marsh.
As a reward, there are holiday coins, with which you can get prizes like the grumpy Grumble Tree as a battle companion. Furthermore, there are cute reindeer headgear, funny hats, and snowflake fireworks. You can find a complete list of holiday rewards under the source reference. However, the entire Wintermaid event lasts only until January 11th.
ArcheAge is worth it even without the Wintermaid festival. The new expansion Revelation brings numerous innovations.
