For a long time, movies and series based on video games had a bad reputation among fans. Titles like Max Payne, Mortal Kombat: Conquest, and Alone in the Dark caused just as many laughs as eye-rolls in the past.
But in recent years, the tide has slowly turned. While there are still blunders here and there that disappoint gaming fans, there is now a whole range of genuine gems that you shouldn’t miss.
It doesn’t matter whether we’re in live-action or in cartoons and anime. In both areas, there are incredibly good video game series today that excite fans.
