In the shooter ARC Raiders, cosmetic items can be purchased to personalize one’s character. The prices for these items are now being lowered, and players who have purchased them before will receive their money back.
How is ARC Raiders giving players their money back? On their website, arcraiders.com, the developers of ARC Raiders announce that starting November 13, 2025, they want to lower the prices for cosmetic items in their shooter. This change is likely a direct response to community feedback. Previously, players had complained about the high prices, especially for the premium decks.
Those who have already purchased the items will receive their money back in the form of Raider-Tokens next week. However, Embark Studios does not specify the exact prices or discounts in their blog post.
Free Raider decks contain gameplay items, while premium decks only include cosmetic items that do not affect gameplay. Currently, there is also a free Raider deck that all players can obtain. In the future, there will continue to be free decks and premium decks available.
Embark Studios secretly changed matchmaking
What was tested and changed? Duo matchmaking has been adjusted in ARC Raiders, but very secretly, without major announcement. Solo players, duo, and trio groups are prioritized to be matched with equally sized groups.
The duo matchmaking works as follows: First, we prioritize solos and squads so they play separately. Then we prioritize duos to play with other duos, and trios to play with trios. Please note that this is not a 100% guaranteed system, so you may occasionally encounter player groups other than your own.

Along with the price reductions, an update called “North Line” is also coming on November 13. This update unlocks the new region Stella Montis and offers many new contents such as a community event, two new ARCs, new weapons, play styles, and quests.
