In ARC Raiders has a lot of weapons that you can find or build, but which ones should you use? We have looked at all of them and provide you with a brief overview for a meaningful arsenal.
How many weapons are there? In total, you can expect up to 20 weapons at launch, which you can either randomly find in the world or build and modify at your weapon station. These weapons range from rifles and assault rifles to pistols, SMGs, snipers, or heavy weapons.
The Reddit user VisualVibrance made the effort to represent all known weapons in a clear graphic. Note that the longer ARC Raiders progresses in development, more weapons will make their way into the loot pool.

Best Weapons Overview – These are the ones you should take

Ferro – Best weapon for breaking armor
Why is the weapon so good? The Ferro is the best weapon for penetrating armor, especially that of the ARC. The rifle has a generous range, high stability, and deals massive damage. Furthermore, it leaves its competition behind as it can be produced cheaply at the weapon station.
Are there any disadvantages? The biggest disadvantage of the weapon is its firing mode. It can only fire semi-automatically and can additionally only hold one bullet in the chamber. This means that your shots must hit; otherwise, you will be left exposed while dealing with the long reload time as your enemy rushes you.
What do I need to build it? Depending on the level of the Ferro, the amount of your materials you need to invest increases, but for level 1 you need:
- 5x Metal parts
- 2x Rubber parts
Rattler – Best weapon for long-range
Why is the weapon so good? The Rattler is the perfect and cost-effective choice when it comes to piercing your enemies from a distance. It is very precise, has a magazine size of 10 rounds, and a moderate rate of fire to withstand heated battles. Moreover, its large magazine allows for some errors.
Are there any disadvantages? If you are used to other shooters, you will have to get used to the magazine size. This is sufficient for precise shooters but not for those who like to fire continuously.
Unlike assault rifles, you also do not change the whole magazine, but must reload two rounds sequentially – this can cost you valuable seconds in a fight. Lastly, the production costs for the rifle are very high, especially for beginners.
What do I need to build it? Depending on the level of the Rattler, the amount of your materials you need to invest increases, but for level 1 you need:

- 12x Rubber parts
Kettle – Best weapon for close combat
Why is the weapon so good? The Kettle is a smaller, but more compact version of the Rattler. The fully automatic rifle has a lower range, but more maneuverability. Due to its size, it is more compact and with its generous magazine of 20 rounds, it is also optimally suited to quickly pierce your enemies with many rounds.
Are there any disadvantages? Yes, primarily in terms of range and rate of fire, as these are weaker than those of the Rattler. Also to note is the long reload animation, which leaves those who misuse it exposed to their enemies. So you will always need to seek cover when you want to exchange your magazine.
What do I need to build it? Depending on the level of the Kettle, the amount of your materials you need to invest increases, but for level 1 you need:

- 8x Rubber parts
Anvil – Best backup weapon
Why is the weapon so good? The Anvil lives up to its name, as it strikes, despite its compact size, like an anvil. Imagine the pistol as a smaller version of the Ferro. Through its rounds, it effortlessly penetrates the armor of the ARC, and with 6 shots in the chamber, you have the option to allow for some mistakes in combat.
Are there any disadvantages? Understandably, the disadvantages of the Anvil lie in its stability and slow reloading, but aside from that, there is not much to complain about.
What do I need to build it? Depending on the level of the Anvil, the amount of your materials you need to invest increases, but for level 1 you need:
- 3x Mechanical components
- 1x Basic weapon parts
Note that you must first unlock the blueprint of the Anvil, as this is not available from the start.
Bonus – Best Gadget
The best gadget is probably the portable zip line, as it allows you to quickly traverse inaccessible terrain and cover long distances in a matter of seconds. Additionally, the item is also good for escaping. Besides that, you can also experiment wildly with the grenades you find.
We recommend contact grenades for larger ARCs, which explode immediately upon impact. For smaller ARCs that approach you in large numbers, the Wolfpack is a strong choice. This grenade detonates into seeking missiles and searches the surrounding area for hostile robots.
For hostile Raiders, you can get creative. There are mines or incendiary grenades that can keep your enemies sweating longer. This way, you can easily ambush them.
