What exactly happened? On Reddit, user dreamthorp explains that a few days ago he was watching his friend’s house and passed the time by playing ARC Raiders. During a nighttime raid on a dam, an exciting situation occurred.
When dreamthorp tried to extract using an elevator, suddenly a Leaper (a four-legged ARC with great jumping ability) landed on his character. Panic set in immediately. dreamthorp shouted for help in voice chat. He just wanted to get back on his feet and limp to safety…
The appearance of a concerned citizen: A passing neighbor heard the cry for help in the hallway and approached the door. He knocked, but only received another cry for help in response. “Is everything okay with you?” Another Help! Determined, the young man backed up to kick the door with full force.
A camera recorded the scene in front of the door up to the kicking motion, and dreamthorp posted the clip on Reddit:
Unfortunately, the kick itself isn’t visible. According to dreamthorp, the force of the kick caused the recording to stop. He describes the moment as follows: “My heart almost jumped out of my chest when I saw the door bulging inward as if there was an explosion behind it.”
