In ARC Raiders, there are various materials you need to collect for quests, including the fireball burners. We will show you where to find them here.
Where can you find fireball burners? To get fireball burners, you must defeat fireballs and loot their remains. These are ARCs, robotic entities that roll around in balls and attack you with a flamethrower. You can usually find them in buildings or underground facilities where they patrol and attack any threats they scan.
Feel free to visit the dam battlefields at the following locations:
- Hydroponic Dome Complex
- Test Cultivation
- Research and Administration
- Control Room of Water Treatment
- Control Tower
You can find aggressive ARCs in other locations as well, but the ones mentioned above are the most accessible.
Do not confuse the pops with the fireballs. The former have a white exterior, while fireballs are encased in metal and are more robust.
What do I need fireball burners for? You need fireball burners for 3 quests so far:
- Fight Fire With Fire
- The Right Tool
- What Goes Around
With them, you have to ignite enemies, primarily ARCs, using the fireball burners.
Apart from that, you can also use this item temporarily against real enemies, as the device creates a fire explosion upon impact, temporarily engulfing enemies in flames. This can prove especially useful in tight spaces.
How do I best fight against a fireball? Do not waste your ammunition unnecessarily against fireballs. If you do not have weapons with strong armor penetration, you will not damage their exterior.
Try to approach them as close as possible. They should then open their weak spot, which houses the flamethrower. You need to sink 1-2 rounds into this white core. If done correctly, the fireballs will burst.
Be careful to only briefly enter the attack radius of the robot; otherwise, they will set you on fire, and the damage taken should not be underestimated. Additionally, you should also keep your distance when you eliminate one of these enemies. When they explode, they ignite a small radius, which you also want to avoid.
