Where do I find comet igniters? The comet igniter is a new resource that you receive from the new unit “Comet”. The robot has joined with the latest update “Shrouded Sky” and serves the ARC as an extension to its ranks. You need to defeat them to obtain the item, but it is not that easy.
Fighting comets – Here’s how to do it easiest
Where can you find comets? You can find comets randomly on maps that are set on the surface – so any map except Stella Montis. Comets appear, as the name suggests, from the sky, as they crash down and land with a loud bang on the earth’s surface. If you’re lucky, you might even witness their spawn sequence.
How to best fight against comets? To best defeat comets, you should use rapid-fire weapons instead of armor-piercing ones. Their weak point is in the middle of their outer shell, exactly where their light is located.
Weapons like the Rattler or the Renegade do the job effortlessly, and most of the time, without needing to reload again. What is especially important here is: you need to defeat the comets to get the comet igniter.
If the comets initiate their self-destruction, you won’t receive any igniters from their remains. So, it’s best to keep your distance and shoot at their lamp.
What do I need the comet igniters for? Currently, you need the comet igniters for one step of the project “Weather Monitoring System”.
