The online game Halo Online, which was supposed to launch exclusively in Russia, is currently on hold.
Microsoft wanted to publish the online game Halo Online in cooperation with the Russian publisher Innova through the 4game platform. However, as it currently looks, it seems that nothing will come of it. Because it has now been announced via Halo Online’s VK channel, a social media platform for players from Russia, that work on the game has been halted.
The online shooter that wasn’t meant to be
Apparently, Microsoft was not very cooperative when it came to discussions about the future of the online shooter. As the developers were unsure how to proceed and how the game should develop, they have now ceased work on it. The game’s social media channels are now being closed down as well. Halo Online was announced as an online shooter in March 2015 and was supposed to be released – at least for the time being – exclusively in Russia.
