Very soon, the continuation of a huge sci-fi series is coming. In July 2023, Season 2 of Foundation will premiere on AppleTV+.

What is Foundation about? The series is based on a book series by Isaac Asimov and is set in the future.

The mathematician Dr. Hari Seldon has predicted the fall of the Galactic Empire and is now working with his team to secure humanity’s knowledge for reconstruction. However, Ruler Brother Day does not like this at all.

Season 2 takes place a whole century after the events of Season 1. The situation within the galaxy is becoming increasingly tense, and a war against the Empire breaks out. The focus of the story is once again on exiles fighting for the survival of humanity.

For Season 2 of the series, some familiar faces are returning: Jared Harris, Lee Lou Llobell, and Leah Harvey are all back. Lee Pace is also back, whom many know from the Hobbit films as Thranduil or as the Marvel antagonist Ronan.
