In Apex Legends, the old map Kings Canyon is making a comeback. For many players, this is a clear response to Fortnite, which has seen a resurgence with the launch of Season 2.
This was announced by Respawn: The developers of Apex Legends shared a video of Kings Canyon on Twitter and revealed that the map from Season 1 will return.
This way, you can enjoy the vibe from the early days again, as the original map of Apex Legends has not been available since the start of Season 2 last July. Since then, a lot has changed and the subsequent seasons have made changes to the map.
A quick response to Fortnite?
Some players claim: Under Respawn’s Twitter post, there are some players who believe this is a quick and solid response to the major competitor Fortnite.
After all, Fortnite released Season 2 of Chapter 2 yesterday, on February 20, reigniting interest in the battle royale shooter, which previously seemed to have cooled off.
