Who is the new legend? The newly introduced legend in Apex Legends is Conduit. She is driven by her wish to help her family. After being saved by the titan Monarc, she felt so inspired by him that she wanted to become a legend herself.
Though she endangers her own health with the irradiated remnants of the Monarch battery, she also shields her squad. Now she is ready to join the Apex games and transform from a long-time guest to a legend.

What does the trailer show? While the trailer doesn’t explain Conduit’s exact skills, you get a rough impression from her combat style and abilities. It particularly seems like the power from the Monarch battery is a challenge for her.
This could suggest that she injures herself if she is not careful with this power. Otherwise, Conduit definitely seems capable of providing shields to her squad members.
An introduction video that should appeal to fans
In the trailer, you watch Conduit planning her own introduction video, which doesn’t succeed in the first two attempts.
From an exaggerated small excerpt, with massive laser beams to a small musical interlude with the synthetic nightmare Revenant, her ideas do not particularly convince her squad members.
Her question is not only whether the ideas for a suitable introduction video are the right ones, but whether they represent Conduit.
Ultimately, with the support of Mirage and Gibraltar and the question of what makes Conduit a legend, a decent video is finally created. You get a lot of action and a little insight into the possibilities that the new legend holds.
