Apex Legends finally gets Challenges like Fortnite and others. Learn here what you need to do to get new items, skins, and goodies.
What are Challenges? Today, on June 4, 2019, the long-awaited Challenges were introduced to Apex Legends for the first time. These are special tasks that you can complete alongside your gameplay to secure special goodies and level up your Battle Pass faster.
In many battle royale games, including Fortnite and PUBG, daily and weekly Challenges have long been common, even if they can sometimes take on rather silly forms. For example, in Fortnite, players have had to complete annoying obstacle courses while everyone targeted them.
Therefore, Apex Legends initially had no Challenges, as the focus was on core gameplay. However, with the “Legendary Hunt” event, there are finally Challenges in Apex Legends.
The Challenges and their Rewards in Apex Legends
These are the tasks: The following Challenges are now to be completed in Apex Legends. You will receive the corresponding rewards:
- Reach the Top 5 in any match: Badge of the Legendary Hunt
- Reach the Top 5 in an Elite Top 5 match: Rare G7 skin “Wolf Pack”
- Reach the Top 5 five times (whether consecutively or not) in any queue: Epic Bloodhound skin “Master of the Hunt”
- Win twice (whether consecutively or not) in any queue: Legendary Triple-Take skin “Tamed Beast”
What else is there to win? Anyone who has already purchased the Battle Pass of Season 1 in Apex Legends will immediately receive a legendary skin for the R-30 rifle called “Estimated Spoils”. At level 15, there’s also the legendary Wraith skin “Night Terror”.
How long do I have to complete everything? The new challenges and the “Legendary Hunt” event went live yesterday, June 4, 2019, at 7:00 PM our time. You now have 2 weeks until June 18 for everything to end.
By the way, from June 7 to June 10, there will be double XP for everything, and during the entire event, you will receive a level in the Battle Pass for free each time you make it into the Top 5. However, this can only be done once per day.
Will the event return? No, the action is one-time only, and anyone who doesn’t earn the skins by June 18, 2019, will never receive them again, according to Respawn Entertainment!
In the upcoming second season, there are expected to be even more challenges, including daily and weekly tasks.
