In Apex Legends, there is a weapon that is considered the best in the game: the Wingman. The weapon has been nerfed in the new patch. However, while casual players rejoice, professionals like Shroud are not particularly thrilled about the new version of the Wingman.
Which weapons are we talking about? If you ask any Apex player about their favorite weapon, there is a high chance they will enthusiastically shout “Wingman” right away.
Because the hefty hand cannon is precise and extremely deadly. Players like the “human aimbot” Shroud can wipe out entire squads with it, and even less talented players swear by the weapon. It is basically the “Anti-Mozambik.”
As the pistol has been rated extremely well, it has now been nerfed in the new Apex Legends patch. However, what many casual players are happy about has found less support among professionals.

These are the changes to Wingman and Peacekeeper
This is how the Wingman has been nerfed: The nerf that has recently hit the servers has taken some of the firing rate from the Wingman. It now fires 2.6 shots per second instead of 3.1. Additionally, the Skullpiercer headshot modifier has been reduced from 2.5 to 2.25.
Since the firing rate is now reduced, you need to be more careful about where you aim. This is well-received by some casual players. For example, the site Kotaku writes that you now aim more carefully with the Wingman and become even better.
What the professionals say: Professionals like the already mentioned super player Shroud, on the other hand, find the change ridiculous and still consider the weapon way too good. The nerf is almost unnoticeable.

They should have properly nerfed the fire rate hard or just left it alone. In that case, they should have reduced the damage instead.
The issue with the Skullpiercer, on the other hand, would have been completely irrelevant, and this nerf is particularly useless.
This is changing with the Peacekeeper: The Peacekeeper is also firing slower now. Additionally, both the Peacekeeper and the Wingman are now found less frequently in the game.
